Volunteer to staff the Headquarters

We need volunteers to staff the Knox County Democrats Headquarters (228 E. Main St., Galesburg). We ask for people to sign up for two-hour slots during the hours we're open, Monday-Friday, 11:00-1:00 and on Saturday, 10:00-4:00. It's easy to sign up online:

  •  Click on the following link, which goes directly to our sign-up page: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0D4BACA923ABFB6-65028088-democratic#/   

  • Look over the list and find the date(s) you want to sign up for. For each date you want to take, you need to do three simple things:

    1. Click on the rectangular pink SIGN UP BUTTON on the time slot you want to take.

    2. Click on SAVE AND CONTINUE (at the bottom of the screen)

    3. Finally, click on SIGN UP NOW. 

  • You will get an email confirming your sign up. If you don't, then you have missed one of the steps--go back and finish up.

Attend an Event!

Labor Day Parade:  Monday, Sept. 7.  10 am.  Corner of Main & Chambers.  More details to come.
Ice Cream Social:  Thursday, Sept. 17, 5-7 pm, at Lincoln Park . More details to come.

Display candidate Yard Signs

We have yard signs for many of the state and local candidates at the Knox County Democrats Headquarters (228 E. Main St., Galesburg). Please stop by and pick up a sign(s) and put in your yard to show your support for the candidate(s). As a reminder, please do not put signs in the terrace area.

Canvassing for Candidates

CANVASSERS NEEDED TO BUILD SUPPORT ILLINOIS  DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES!
In this election it is important for our country and our county to elect strong Democrats at every level of government.  Help them by volunteering a couple of hours to knock on doors.  Canvassing is scheduled in Knox County on Sept. 12, 19 and 26.  Gather at Knox Democratic Headquarters, 228 E. Main Street, Galesburg, at 10 am.

Keep Showing Up!

The weekly protests organized by 50501Galesburg are now in their eighteenth month!  These are usually on each Saturday starting at 2pm, but check out the 50501 Galesburg IL Facebook page to confirm dates and times for the weekly protests.
