Canvassing in Galesburg & Knox County

Volunteers are needed to canvass registered voters for the Democratic Party.

Canvassing will be in 3-hour shifts (10 am-1 pm; 1-4 pm; 4-7 pm)

Staging will be out of the Knox Democrats Headquarters, 228 E. Main St.  Digital scripts and walklists will be provided using the Democrats canvassing app MiniVAN.  The focus at this point is to engage with people who are reliable voters but whose voting records suggest they are neither strong Democrats nor strong Republicans, to learn about their top-level concerns and also tell them about the Democratic candidates, with brief talking points.  The takeaway is that Democrats want to listen to them and are prepared to respond to their concerns.  To volunteer, just show up or contact Alex Schrand at aschrand@ildems.com. Dates are July 8, 19, 25 and 26.
